Presentation Instructions

Oral Presentations

Each oral presentation is scheduled for 20 minutes (17 for talk + 3 for discussion). Please be very strict in your timing and do not exceed the 17 minutes allotted to you!

We will give you the option of additionally presenting your work as a poster. Please contact us asap (gcpr-2023@iwr.uni-heidelberg.de) if you are interested.

Powerpoint or PDF slides are recommended for your talk. The conference hall will be equipped with a presentation notebook with MS Office and Acrobat Reader. Hence, we do not support Keynote-format for Mac. Please contact us if you need any particular software for this purpose.

The presenters are kindly requested to copy their files to the conference presentation notebook and test at least 15 minutes before the session starts. We will ask the session chair to be there as well.

You can also use your own notebook for your presentation (although, we only recommend doing so if your presentation has complex videos). In this case, we strongly suggest that you make a thorough test before the session starts. To circumvent any unforeseeable complications, please have a USB stick with your presentation ready.

Poster Presentation

The poster boards have a size of 1,88m width x 1,14m height. Pins will be provided to put up your poster. Each poster board has a paper ID. Please put your poster at the respective poster board up.

We have two poster sessions on Wednesday and on Thursday, respectively. Please find your poster session here: https://www.dagm-gcpr.de/year/2023/program/gcpr-articles. If your poster is in the first poster session on Wednesday then please remove your poster by latest on Thursday morning.
